"Just wanted to let you know that our family had a wonderful time at the campground. It was our first time there. The staff was super friendly! Each and every one. Thank you. It means a lot to see a smiling employee - especially when you're on vacation. It is a perfect place to go with kids. We hope to be back and we'll let others know how much fun we had. Because I am also in the customer service industry ( I own 2 restaurants in the cities) I know how important it is to provide good service to your guests. And EVERYONE there went above and beyond the usual good customer service. Jean, Frank, Arnie, Cathy, and countless others whose names I don't know really made our stay exceptional. So I just wanted to pass this along, because I also know sometimes you only hear the things that you didn't do right, this time everything was done just right. This was our first trip to the Hayward KOA and will definitely not be our last. I felt so welcome while at your campground that I will recommend it to everyone I know. While staying at the campground with my husband for a weekend hunting trip, I was alone at the campground much of the day and evening. I must tell you all that I have never felt so safe at a campground alone even with all of the years of camping experiences that I have had across the country. I just had to write to you to tell you how fantastic your Campground is. I have never seen a Hugh Camp site be so Immaculate. And the people that you have working for you are Totally AWESOME. Very friendly, Courteous and just plain a joy to be around. And the Cook that you have there making the Breakfast at that cute little stand is out of this world! His French toast is to die for! I have eaten in many many, many resturants and have never had a better breakfast than we had there this morning. We had 2 milk's, 2 sausage patties, and 2 french toasts...( My hubby and I each had this.) And I am going to make sure I tell tons of people what a Great Place your place is! Thanks for making my Husband's Birthday, My Birthday and Our Anniversary the Best Ever !!!! I want to tell you that I actually cried when we had to leave. I've never enjoyed a vacation like that one. I've traveled all across the US and have stayed in some very nice motels, but I never plan on doing it again. From now until after I retire I will spend every possible vacation at KOA in Hayward, hopefully in kabin 183. My kids and fiancé were as extremely thrilled with the stay as I was. The wallpaper on my cell phone is a picture of the front of our kabin. I look at it everyday and wish I was back there again. Everything was perfect. My family and I thank you so much for the best vacation we've ever taken. We'll be back again the first week of June 2008. Keep kabin 183 ready for us!
