2008 SCHEDULE
May 1	Open the camping season with Hayward KOA's first weekend of the season.
May 3	Fishing opens.
May 9	Welcome Mom! This is a weekend for you. Stop in the office and pick up a small appreciation gift for a being a camping mom.
May 16	Get an early start on your camping!
May 23 (3 night minimum stay)	This weekend we open all activities with a visiting clown.
May 30	Come prepared to celebrate Halloween. We will have a site decorating contest and trick or treating.
June 6	Halloween weekend again with site decorating and trick or treating. THIS IS OUR SECOND YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR OWNING HAYWARD KOA!
June 13	Bring Dad for Father's Day and a weekend of FAMILY FUN. Hayward KOA will treat Dad to a free breakfast at the Red Pine.
June 20	Muskey Festival is celebrated in downtown Hayward.
July 4 (3 night minimum stay)	Don't miss the Watermelon Olympics. Try your luck at relay races, seed spitting, disc throwing, watermelon rescue and carving. Sign up your site and compete for the trophy.
July 18-20	"Honor the Earth" POW WOW.
July 25 (3 night minimum stay)	Annual Lumberjack World Championships is in Hayward from July 24th - 27th. We will have a shuttle service.
August 1	Howdy Partner! Bring your hat, bring your boots, and join us for a bang up time. Horse races and other fun activities for western weekend.
July 31-August 3	Sawyer County Fair.
August 8	What could be more fun than a weekend of chocolate???? Candy bar bingo, chocolate pancakes, chocolate pudding eating contest, and bring your best chocolate recipe for a bake off/cook off.
August 15	Dig out that poodle skirt and join the 50's and 60's weekend* and a special weekend with the clown.*
August 22	Pirate weekend come bring your flashlight for the night time treasure hunt. Kids (up to 12 yr) are encouraged to participate!
August 29 Labor Day (3 day minimum)	Elka the clown will be here. On Sunday we have a Garage sale. Bring your treasures to sell and join us.
September 5	Thanks to you for choosing "Hayward KOA" as your camping spot this year, please join us for a pot luck.
September 12	Our weekend starts with a spaghetti feed on Friday to get those Fat Tire racers* off to a good start.*
September 12-13	Fat Tire Festival.
September 19 (3 nights for the price of 2 nights)	Great Deal!! ATV weekend.
September 20	Fall Festival in Hayward.
October 3	This is the last chance for camping with us before the park closes on October 6.
